Our Process
1. Process Selection – We take your validated prototype and pair it with the optimal process (injection molding, CNC machining, casting, etc.)
2. Tooling & Vendor Setup – We guide the tooling design, mold creation, and supplier integration to ensure efficiency and repeatability.
3. Pilot Runs – We get several test shots run across a variety of similar materials to give our clients certainty on their material matching. We also use this phase to validate quality, tolerances, packing, and process consistency.
4. Fabrication and Deployment – With our TN-based suppliers, you don't even have to wait for the full order to be produced before delivery - We can deliver in partial batches off the line, to help with your lead time needs.

Pilot Runs

Fabrication and Deployment
Protoproof has partnered with Pocketship Logistics to have end-to-end execution. From fabrication to final delivery - all conveniently through Protoproof.
Case Study - Vaucluse Gear: After approving the samples, we had 20,000 frames being produced by our partner manufacturer, Polymer Components.
Because of Protoproof's strong relationship with Polymer, we were able to pick up the units off of the production line, saving our client 6 weeks of waiting on the entire order being complete. An important note: Vaucluse Gear had 2,000 pre-orders that were over 3 months old. Saving 6 weeks was imperative to ensuring that he retained his pre-orders. These orders we're then shipped on-demand from our partner warehousing + fulfillment partner Pocketship Logistics.
